Personal Experience
After forty years of law practice with two terrific Seventeenth Street firms, followed by founding his own firm in 2012, Paul currently limits his practice to mediation, arbitration, early neutral evaluation, and special master work.
Paul is a 1984 graduate of Stanford Law School, a 1981 graduate of Weber State University, and a 1974 graduate of Manitou Springs High School.
In his forty years of practice, Paul has successfully litigated through trial and arbitration hearing several multi-million dollar, highly complex business disputes. More recently, he has served as a court-appointed special master to help manage discovery and related matters in particularly contentious disputes, has served as an arbitrator and panelist for National Governing Bodies affiliated with the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee involving ethics and SafeSport-related matters, and has successfully resolved several commercial cases as a mediator.
Paul served in the United States Air Force as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician from 1975 to 1979, when he was honorably discharged. His tours of duty included Incirlik CDI, Turkey, and Hill AFB, Utah.
